Yearly general health checks for all ages. Review of weight, diet, exercise, use of substances, family history/genetic risks, general examination including blood pressure, cancer screening including skin checks, cervical cancer screening, Cardiovascular Risk assessment.
Treatment of recent illness and injuries.
Management of longer term health problems such as Diabetes, Hypertension, Osteoporosis, High Cholesterol, Migraine, Arthritis, Back Pain. Care Planning – GP Management Plans for chronic conditions. These can give patients eligibility for a medicare rebate for 5 sessions per year of Allied Health visits.
Full routine NSW Health immunisation schedule as well as extra vaccines such as Meningiococcal B (Bexsero) and travel vaccines. Covid-19 vaccines. Pregnancy vaccines. Shingles vaccine for those > 50 years.
Liquid nitrogen for warts and precancerous skin conditions.
Health Assessments – 45-49 yrs, over 70 yrs. A health assessment is a structured way to find health issues that can be prevented or improved through interventions, aiming to make life healthier and better.
Excision biopsies. Removal of skin tags, moles, cysts, foreign bodies.
Pre pregnancy carrier screening, Pharmacogenomics, Genetic test for Lactose intolerance, Coeliac specific genotyping and Haemochromatosis screening for people at risk. Referral for BRCA gene testing for women with strong family history of breast/ovarian cancer.
Pre pregnancy consultations – recommended for all couples prior to pregnancy to ensure appropriate health checks including genetic tests are performed. Pre pregnancy carrier screening. Shared Antenatal Care – with Wollongong or St George Hospitals. Baby checks – growth monitoring and immunisations.
STI screening and treatment. Prescription of PrEP. Contraception – including Implanon insertion and removal, IUCD removal. Oral and depo contraception.
Menopause management – including prescription of Menopausal Hormonal therapy. Management of thyroid conditions.
Mental Health plans and reviews. Also Eating Disorder plans.
Workcover/Insurance health reports. Medical Certificates. Iron Infusions. Skin checks.
